This guide demonstrates how to create and manage products using the GoPay Manager.
Navigate to Products
Step 1: Switch to the Admin environment.
Step 2: In the dashboard, find Products under the Shops section.
Create Product
Step 1: Click the Create button.
Step 2: Select the product group, enter the product name, currency, price, description, and upload an image. If no product groups have been created, you must first create product groups before you can create a product. See the guide on how to create product groups.
Note: Select the Right Shops
When creating or editing a product, you can choose which shops the product should be available in. A shop defines whether the product should be available on the POS terminal, in the GoPay app, in the meeting catering module, takeaway, etc. Read more about how shops work.
Product Description
Adjust product-specific settings such as marketing tags and allergens.
Product Availability
To control the availability of products so they only appear during specific time periods or at specific times, follow these steps:
- Under the Availability section, you can set the dates for when the product should be available.
- Use the From Date and To Date fields to select the specific dates during which the product should be visible.
- If you want to allow pre-ordering of the product, you can activate Allow Pre-order. This allows customers to pre-order the product in the GoPay app, even if the product is not yet available.
Deadline Management
To set a purchase deadline, you can activate the Deadline function. This allows you to specify a time limit by which customers must place their orders. Deadlines are useful for products with limited availability or special offers, as they help ensure that customers are aware of the order and cancellation deadlines.
- Under the Deadline section, you can activate the deadline function by toggling the switch to the right.
- Set the Purchase deadline by selecting the day and time. This specifies when customers must place their orders by.
- For example, choose The day before and 12:00 PM to set the deadline to the day before at noon.
- Set the Cancellation deadline by selecting the day and time. This specifies when customers must cancel their orders by.
- For example, choose The day before and 12:00 PM to set the cancellation deadline to the day before at noon.
Edit Product
To edit a product, click the three dots next to the respective product and select the Edit menu.
Delete Product
To delete a product, click the three dots next to the respective product and select the Delete menu.
